B Woking Council Climate Change Model
C Profile of SAN-2088 candidates
D Other Candidates invited to join SAN-2088 Platform
A MAIN OBJECTIVE-ACCELERATE CLIMATE CHANGE PRACTICES
The main objective of SAN-2088 is to accelerate the adoption of Climate
Change practices not only in the Mosman Area but also in the SHOROC region.
Please review the attached 8 SAN Policy Objectives (Att A)
B WOKING COUNCIL CLIMATE CHANGE MODEL
These proposed Climate Change practices are based on the very successful
Woking Municipal Council Model as explained by Allan JONES MBE on 22 Jul
2008 at the City-of-Sydney Seminar.
The main trust of the Woking Council Model is to move from a Carbon to
a Hydrogen Economy with water as the waste product of Hydrogen emissions
The current SAN Candidates have studied the Woking Model of 81 Decentralised
Energy Systems and consider it eminently suitable for Mosman
(Att B - Decentralised Energy Systems).
C CANDIDATE PROFILES
However it requires Engineers including Civil, Mechanical and Information
Engineers on the Council who understand the technical issues and the
long term implications
The three registered SAN-2088 Candidates are
1 Michael CLEAR - Water & Mechanical Engineer
2 Willem RAVESTIJN - Sports Information Administrator
3 Stephen GOULD - Information Engineer
Please find attached the Profile of one of the SAN-2088 candidates
Stephen GOULD who as an Information Engineer has a long understanding
of Mosman Council's Information requirements since 1994.
D MOSMAN CANDIDATES INVITED JOIN SAN-2088 PLATFORM
NSW Councils have had 14 years to consider Sustainability issues and
are moving far too slowly (Ref C: "1995 Sustainability is the Future").
Other Mosman Candidates are invited to join our platform to ensure that
the appropriate Climate Change policies are adopted quickly
(ref D: Mosman Oval residents letter 02 Aug 2008 on excessive Power
